5537faaf19 aic: Fix decoding files with odd dimensions
Normally the aic decoder finds the proper slice combination (multiple of
some number less than 32) but in case of odd width, it resorts to the
default values, which were actually swapped.
The number of slices is modified to account for such odd width cases.

265ad094a8 Fix buffer_size argument to init_put_bits() in multiple encoders.
Several encoders were multiplying the buffer size by 8, in order to get
a bit size. However, the buffer_size argument is for the byte size of
the buffer. We had experienced crashes encoding prores (Anatoliy) at
size 4096x4096.

b9d09fb8c9 mips/acelp_filters: fix incorrect register constraint
Change register constraint on the v variable from = to +. This was causing GCC
to think that the v variable was never read and therefore not initialize it.

This fixes about 20 fate failures on mips64el.

e407615129 roqvideoenc: set enc->avctx in roq_encode_init
So far it is only set in roq_encode_frame, but it is used in
roq_encode_end to free the coded_frame. This currently segfaults if
roq_encode_frame is not called between roq_encode_init and
roq_encode_end.

4f53eaaafa ffmdec: limit the backward seek to the last resync position
If resyncing leads to the same position as previously, it will again
lead to a resync attempt, resulting in an infinite loop.

Thus don't seek back beyond the last syncpoint.

25b73ae265 avformat/rm: limit packet size
The chunk size is limited to 0xFFFF (written by avio_wb16), so make
sure that the packet size is not too large.

Such large frames need to be split into slices smaller than 64 kB, but
that is currently supported neither by the rv10/rv20 encoders nor the rm
muxer.

b55be8b266 avcodec/webp: validate the distance prefix code
According to the WebP Lossless Bitstream Specification the highest
allowed value for a prefix code is 39.

If prefix_code is too large, the calculated extra_bits has an invalid
value and triggers an assertion in get_bits.

0051174c70 rmenc: limit packet size
The chunk size is limited to UINT16_MAX (written by avio_wb16), so make
sure that the packet size is not too large.

Such large frames need to be split into slices smaller than 64 kB, but
that is currently supported neither by the rv10/rv20 encoders nor the rm
muxer.

61c966ef30 webp: validate the distance prefix code
According to the WebP Lossless Bitstream Specification the highest
allowed value for a prefix code is 39.

If prefix_code is too large, the calculated extra_bits has an invalid
value and triggers an assertion in get_bits.

7fd11fbeeb arm: Suppress tags about used cpu arch and extensions
When all the codepaths using manually set .arch/.fpu code is
behind runtime detection, the elf attributes should be suppressed.

This allows tools to know that the final built binary doesn't
strictly require these extensions.

3d8c51d699 avformat/mpc8: fix hang with fuzzed file
This can lead to an endless loop by seeking back a few bytes after each
attempted chunk read. Assuming negative sizes are always invalid, this
is easy to fix. Other code in this demuxer treats negative sizes as
invalid as well.

c7dc73a6c3 avformat/tta: fix crash with corrupted files
av_add_index_entry() can fail, for example because the parameters are
invalid, or because memory allocation fails. Check this; it can actually
happen with corrupted files.

The second hunk is just for robustness. Just in case functions like
ff_reduce_index() remove entries. (Not sure if this can actually
happen.)

a9602c6cfb matroskadec: Fix read-after-free in matroska_read_seek()
In matroska_read_seek(), |tracks| is assigned at the begining of the
function. However, functions like matroska_parse_cues() could reallocate
the tracks and invalidate |tracks|.

This assigns |tracks| only before using it, so that it will not get
invalidated elsewhere.

a4a87a7efd avcodec/dvdsubdec: fix accessing dangling pointers
dvdsub_decode() can call append_to_cached_buf() 2 times, the second time
with ctx->buf as argument. If the second append_to_cached_buf() reallocs
ctx->buf, the argument will be a pointer to the previous, freed block.
This can cause invalid reads at least with some fuzzed files - and
possibly with valid files.

Since packets can apparently not be larger than 64K (even if packets are
combined), just use a fixed size buffer. It will be allocated as part of
the DVDSubContext, and although some memory is "wasted", it's relatively
minimal by modern standards and should be acceptable.

7c270a5e3b mov: Fix negative size calculation in mov_read_default().
The previous code assumed if an atom was marked with a 64-bit
size extension, it actually had that data available. The new
code verfies there's enough data in the atom for this to be
done.

Failure to verify causes total_size > atom.size which will
result in negative size calculations later on.

9a02be3122 avformat/matroskadec: fix handling of recursive SeekHead elements
When matroska_execute_seekhead() is called, it goes through the list of
seekhead entries and attempts to read elements not read yet. When doing
this, the parser can find further SeekHead elements, and will extend the
matroska->seekhead list. This can lead to a (practically) infinite loop
with certain broken files. (Maybe it can happen even with valid files.
The demuxer doesn't seem to check correctly whether an element has
already been read.)

Fix this by ignoring elements that were added to the seekhead field
during executing seekhead entries.

This does not fix the possible situation when multiple SeekHead elements
after the file header (i.e. occur after the "before_pos" file position)
point to the same elements. These elements will probably be parsed
multiple times, likely leading to bugs.

Fixes ticket #4162.

The atomics code is left in place as a fallback for synchronization in the
absence of p/w32 threads. Our ABI did not requires applications to
only use threads (and matching ones) to what libavutil was build with
Our code also was not affected by the leak this change fixes, though
no question the atomics based implementation is not pretty at all.
First and foremost the code must work, being pretty comes after that.

If this causes problems, for example when libavutil is used by multiple
applications each using a different kind of threading system then the
default possibly has to be changed to the uglier atomics.

c790e31ae4 lavu: fix memory leaks by using a mutex instead of atomics
The buffer pool has to atomically add and remove entries from the linked
list of available buffers. This was done by removing the entire list
with a CAS operation, working on it, and then setting it back again
(using a retry-loop in case another thread was doing the same thing).

This could effectively cause memory leaks: while a thread was working on
the buffer list, other threads would allocate new buffers, increasing
the pool's total size. There was no real leak, but since these extra
buffers were not needed, but not free'd either (except when the buffer
pool was destroyed), this had the same effects as a real leak. For some
reason, growth was exponential, and could easily kill the process due
to OOM in real-world uses.

Fix this by using a mutex to protect the list operations. The fancy
way atomics remove the whole list to work on it is not needed anymore,
which also avoids the situation which was causing the leak.

7fe5d0a78d lavu: add wrappers for the pthreads mutex API
Also add no-op fallbacks when threading is disabled.

This helps keeping the code clean if Libav is compiled for targets
without threading. Since we assume that no threads of any kind are used
in such configurations, doing nothing is ok by definition.
